SWOT evaluation on “Steampunk” project

Work completed: AD108 Flat illustrations and design work

Strengths
-          What advantages did I have: One of the advantages I did give myself for this project was the idea that I was not going to create something that was overly complicated as my experience in making garments is limited and I did not want to end up with a design that I could not complete at the end.
-          What section of the work did I complete well:  I think with my flat drawings I completed the design process carefully I planned out my design and then chose sections from each design that I liked and continued to develop until I had an end product that I was happy with, by doing this it gave me time to really think about what I wanted my end product to look like and also allowed me to look in to the theme of Steampunk more.
-          What was seen as my strength through this project (with in tutorials and results):  I have not yet received my results from this project as it is still on going, but I believe that my strongest section was my annotation.
-          Which of my achievements in this project am I most proud of: I am most proud of my ability to keep organised as this ability has enabled me to keep on track with the rest of the project.

Weaknesses
-          What task did I avoided with in this project: the task I did try to avoid in this project was coming up with a complicated flat as by doing so there was a chance I would not be able to complete the end product.
-          What do other see as my weakness: I the thing that could be seen as a weakness is once again my choice in a simple design although I did have reason to do this others may see this as a sign that I am not pushing my skills.
-          What are my negative work habits: my negative habits on this section of work would be questioning my own designs.
-          What holds me back: specifically on this project my lack of machine and pattern cutting skills have held me back as I have referred back to them in the design process.
File of flat drawings (my own designs).
